Sarah Tracy realized her passion for parenting when she began taking classes from Candyce Bollinger in 2006. After several years of attending classes with her, Sarah began her ongoing mentorship with Candyce in 2011. She has been providing group education and private consultations for parents since 2013 after she completed a graduate certificate in parent coaching from the Parent Coaching Institute at Seattle Pacific University. Sarah is the mama of two active middle schoolers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family – traveling, watching movies, and enjoying the outdoors. Katy Johansson has been taking parent education classes continually from Candyce Bollinger since her oldest son was 6 weeks old. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to be mentored by Candyce so that she can help give South Sound parents the tools they need to be intentional in parenting. Katy has two elementary school-age children in the Olympia School District, where she works as a paraeducator. She is a proud alumna of the University of Washington and earned a Parenting Skill certificate from South Puget Sound Community College. She currently serves on the boards of: Hands on Children’s Museum; Olympia School District Education Foundation; Capital City Marathon Association; and Capital High School Foundation. In her spare time she enjoys training for marathons and triathlons, and traveling with her family.
Janelle Martinez is an experienced parent with four fabulous daughters and is passionate about helping parents (married or separated) come to workable and healthy agreements around parenting decisions. In addition to having navigated the process of divorce and the nuances of co-parenting herself, she is a Certified Mediator and volunteers regularly with the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County. In this role, she primarily assists parents in navigating decisions surrounding divorce and parenting plans. Janelle also holds an M.A. in International Education and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is well-versed in issues related to culture and language, as she has been teaching international students, immigrants and refugees from all over the world at South Puget Sound Community College for over a decade.
